  1. AUTHORIZATION TO PERFORM WORK

By approving an estimate, signing a proposal, or authorizing work verbally, electronically, or in writing, the Customer agrees:

  • Pro-Precision Electrical Contracting LLC is authorized to perform the described work
  • Customer grants access to the property as needed
  • Customer confirms they are the property owner or authorized agent
  1. PAYMENT TERMS
  • Payment is due upon completion unless otherwise stated in writing
  • For larger projects, deposits and progress payments may be required
  • Accepted payment methods: cash, check, credit/debit card, or electronic payment

Late Payments

  • Past-due balances may incur a late fee of up to 1.5% per month (18% annually) or the maximum allowed by Florida law
  • Customer agrees to pay all reasonable collection costs, including attorney’s fees if applicable
  1. SERVICE CALL MINIMUM

A minimum service charge may apply for:

  • Diagnostic visits
  • Troubleshooting
  • Site evaluations

This fee covers time, travel, and expertise, regardless of whether repairs are completed.

  1. CHANGE ORDERS

Any work outside the original scope requires:

  • Customer approval
  • Possible price adjustment

Verbal or written approval (including SMS/email via Nextiva Xbert) constitutes acceptance of additional charges.

  1. PERMITS & CODE COMPLIANCE
  • Work will comply with applicable codes, including the National Electrical Code (NEC) and Florida Building Code
  • Permit requirements will be determined per project
  • Unless otherwise stated, permit costs are not included in estimates

Customer acknowledges:

  • Existing installations may not meet current code
  • Bringing systems up to code may require additional work
  1. FLORIDA CONSTRUCTION LIEN NOTICE

IMPORTANT NOTICE TO OWNER (Florida Law):

Under Florida law, contractors and suppliers who provide labor, services, or materials for improvements to your property may have the right to file a construction lien if they are not paid in full.

By agreeing to services:

  • You acknowledge receipt of this notice
  • You understand that failure to pay may result in a lien against your property

To avoid a lien:

  • Pay all parties in full
  • Request lien releases where applicable
  1. WARRANTIES & DISCLAIMERS

Workmanship Warranty

  • We warrant our workmanship for [Insert: 30 / 90 / 365 days — recommend 1 year] from completion

Material Warranty

  • Manufacturer warranties apply to materials and equipment
  • We do not control manufacturer defects or delays

Warranty Exclusions

Warranty does not cover:

  • Customer misuse or negligence
  • Pre-existing conditions
  • Acts of God (storms, flooding, surges, lightning)
  • Work altered by others
  1. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY (WORK-SPECIFIC)

To the fullest extent permitted by Florida law:

  • Liability is limited to the amount paid for services
  • We are not liable for:
    • Indirect or consequential damages
    • Loss of business or property use
    • Pre-existing electrical issues
  1. CANCELLATION & NO-SHOW POLICY
  • Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance
  • Late cancellations or missed appointments may incur a fee of $50–$150

We reserve the right to reschedule due to:

  • Weather
  • Emergencies
  • Safety concerns
  1. ACCESS & JOB CONDITIONS

Customer agrees to:

  • Provide safe and clear access to work areas
  • Ensure pets are secured
  • Disclose known hazards

We reserve the right to stop work if conditions are unsafe.

  1. ABANDONED PROJECTS

If a project is delayed due to:

  • Customer inaction
  • Non-payment
  • Lack of access

We may:

  • Demobilize
  • Invoice for completed work
  • Require re-scheduling fees
  1. DISPUTE RESOLUTION
  • Both parties agree to attempt good-faith resolution first
  • If unresolved, disputes may be handled in a Florida court of competent jurisdiction
